Memorial Day Celebration
This is a heads up for the annual Memorial Day celebration at the Park. This year the Novato Police Department, the Novato Fire Department will also participate.
This is the 33 time that the Novato Post 540 of the American Legion will put the event on.
Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will place the flags at each of the almost 600 veterans buried there starting at around 7:45 AM - for those of you have never seen the flags it is truly a moving and humbling experience.
We will have posting of colors by the Novato High School AFJROTC, some short presentations, wreath laying and ending with taps and a fly over by the Bay Bomber Squadron
Please plan to attend - you will have plenty of time to attend the other ceremony at the Civic Center after this is over.
