It's all pink and black this Halloween at Ghiringhelli's

How

about doing something different this Halloween? Ghiringhelli Pizzeria, Grill & Bar is shedding its traditional orange and black Halloween décor and hosting a Pink and Black Halloween Ball on Saturday, Oct. 26th. Although the colors will be different, there will be a few bats and black cats around to get you in the spirit. The purpose is to raise money to fight breast cancer and benefit the American Cancer Society. According to owner Mike Ghiringhelli, twenty percent of the funds raised will assist the organization prevent cancers that touch every person in some way. Music will be provided by Learning Curve from 7 to 10 p.m. This Marin-based original rock band includes four local schoolteachers that blend vocal harmonies with rock grooves. It is John Lavaroni, guitar; Pete Lavaroni, drums; Ross Perry, bass; and Jeff Ray, keyboards. The band draws on life experience and isn’t afraid to laugh at themselves. Never pompous or artsy, these guys just like to rock hard. They have appeared at many local nightspots including 19 Broadway, Sweetwater and Rancho Nicasio, as well as the Novato Festival of Art, Wine & Music. Karaoke will follow until close.Cover is $5. The event will include a wide range of specialty drinks to suit the spooky occasion. What Halloween party would not be complete without a costume contest?
