Ziggy the Wine Gal, a radio & television personality as well as a private wine consultant, joins us to lead tasting of her favorite bottles from Benziger Family Winery - just in time for holiday gift-giving and parties!
Learn how to pair simple or complex menus with wines to fit your entertaining style and your budget with her hand-picked line-up. The menu:
- Albondigas: Mexican style meatballs braised in tomatillio salsa
- Tuna poke with mango, avocado and tobiko roe
- East Indian pakoras with 2 handmade chutneys
- Arancini: Italian risotto balls with heirloom tomato marinara
- Homemade spanakopita with garden spinach and feta cheese
Ziggy began her career with travels to the world's wine regions. She's been a partner in Tantalus Winery and personal sommelier to many stars, including the rock bank Journey. Her radio and television work serves both local and national stations, including KRSH-FM in Sonoma County.
