California Beer Festival, Marin County, Planned in Novato

Don't miss the California Beer Festival Marin County on Saturday, June 28 from 12:30 to 5 p.m at beautiful Stafford Lake in Novato with 100 craft brews on tap featuring breweries from throughout the state including local favorites Lagunitas Brewing Company and Hopmonk Tavern. This is the third year for the annual event that continues to grow as the craft beer movement becomes more than a fad.

Experience ales and beers from breweries such as: Six Rivers Brewery, Stone Brewing Company, Iron Springs Pub and Brewery, Broken Drum Brewery, Bear Republic Brewing Co., Big Sky Brewing Company, Altamont Beer Works, Bison Brewing, Carneros Brewing, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, Day of the Dead Beer and many more. Beer sampling will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Get in early with a VIP ticket and meet the brewers themselves.

Enjoy music from The Unauthorized Rolling Stones, a Rolling Stones tribute band; The 85s, presenting a wide selection of hits from the '80s, including Tom Petty and More; and IrieFuse, a reggae band that is tearing up stages throughout the state.

Meet Burt the Bear, who delights festivalgoers with a swirl of confetti falling from the sky while he prances through the park. Enjoy gourmet sliders. The event is set in a beautiful outdoor setting that makes for a great summer day.

Information and tickets are available at CaliforniaBeerFestival.com. VIP tickets are $65 each. General admission is $40. Sliders and suds tickets are $55, with designated driver tickets available for $25. Children under 12 are free, but must be accompanied by an adult as this is a 21 and over event and ID is required. Detailed ticket information and shuttle schedules can be found online. 

Proceeds benefit the Gen Giammanco Foundation, a non-profit organization providing financial support to student athletes to assist in their pursuit of scholastic and athletic success in Marin County.
