Cabaret Illuminated: 100 Years of Divine Scandal, Humor and Seduction

Enjoy lustrous cabaret songs from
the very beginning, calling forth the days of Le Chat Noir in Montmartre where composers Erik Satie and Claude Debussy wrote for their favorite chanteuses in an
intimate salon setting.

In a program presented by the
College of Marin Music Department and the voice studio of Linda Noble Brown,
vocalists Caroluna and Adrianna
Dinihanian
and a five-piece band will perform rebellious tales and torch
songs. The show will include works by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Cole Porter,
Richard Rogers, Mischa Spolianski, Kurt Weil, and many others. These are songs made famous by
the likes of Edith Piaf, Marlena Dietrich and Eartha Kitt.
