Damon Le Gall Band - Instrumental power trio from the San Francisco Bay Area with Damon Le Gall on lead guitar, Mike Maier on bass and Mark Heaphy on drums.
Damon Le Gall started as a self taught guitarist who's first guitar he rescued from a neighbor's trash can at age 10 and learned the pentatonic scale from listening to early Black Sabbath. Since then he has played with notable musicians such as, Luther Tucker of Chicago Blues fame, Miles Schon, Eric Barnett of Points North, Tommy Odetto and Loretta Carpenter. Damon has studied under the great Motor City guitar legend Kevin Russell and was a finalist in the King Of The Blues 2012 competition hosted by Guitar Center.
The Damon Le Gall Band is a progressive instrumental rock trio driven by bluesy guitar riffs and modern virtuoso style progressions. Some of the members studied under well renowned Motor City musician Kevin Russell and performed at various Bay Area venues with well known artists such as Luther Tucker, Miles Schon, Eric Barnet, Tommy Odetto, Loretta Carpenter and Neil Walter.
