Windy Weather Disrupts Power in Novato
Gusts reached nearly 60 miles per hour last night. Pacific Gas & Electric has no estimate yet as to when power will be restored.
Roughly 200 customers in Mill Valley are without power this morning following strong overnight winds that caused outages across the Bay Area. Novato was also disrupted.
Pacific Gas & Electric reports there were 11 outages in Mill Valley that left about 138 customers in the dark at 12:04 a.m. and four outages in Tam Valley at 8:26 a.m. affecting 61 customers. The outages are awaiting assessment, and there's no estimate at this time as to when power will be restored.
PG&E's outage map is also reporting five outages in Fairfax that have left 66 without power, as well as 21 customers in Novato, 14 customers in Ross and eight out in Lagunitas- Forest Knolls.

One of the larger outages also occured in Bolinas (119 customers).
Peak gusts reached nearly 59 mph in Woodacre as of 9 a.m., and 75 mph in San Francisco, according to the US National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area/Monterey California.
