Weekend Planner and Much More Coming Today on Novato Patch

Novato Patch is starting to roll out some new content targeted toward moms and families as well as information that will help you set up some cool weekend plans.

Patch sites across the nation — nearly 800 of them — will devote most of Wednesdays and Thursdays to those subjects from now on, peppered with breaking news that you need to know right away.

On Wednesdays starting next week, look for leads on bargains at local stores; a column that will answer your parenting questions; a feature highlighting awesome local kids; kid free-outing ideas for moms (and dads!) and a short calendar of family-friendly things to do.

Starting today, Thursdays will be all about the weekend: Weekly restaurant profiles; a calendar of best-bet events; a roundup of open houses for real estate buffs and a photo gallery to show you what's been going on around town.
