Novato police are searching for an armed suspect who took money and cigarettes from a Novato gas station in a robbery early Monday morning.
Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Enfrente Shell gas station at 401 Enfrente Road at 2 a.m. that day, police said.
According to police, the suspect brandished a firearm at the sales clerk and stole cash and cigarettes. He fled before police arrived.
The suspect was wearing all black clothing and carrying a satchel, according to
police. Police conducted an extensive search of the area with a K-9 unit,
but did not locate the suspect.
