Novato Man Struck and Killed on Highway 101 Shoulder, CHP Says
Binh Tran, 64, had run out of gas in Mendocino County and was walking along the highway when the collision took place, a report says.
The California Highway Patrol has identified a Novato man as the victim of a fatal crash near Hopland in southern Mendocino County, according to the Santa Rosa Press Democrat.
Binh Tran, 64, had left his car and was walking along Highway 101 when he was struck and killed, the CHP said.
