Boca Steak & Seafood Goes for Casual

High-end Novato restaurant rebranding itself with a more casual and lower-priced menu

Boca Steak & Seafood on Ignacio Boulevard will soon become Boca Tavern, a more scaled down version of the former restaurant with a focus on farm-to-table classic dining, the San Francisco Chronicle is reporting.

“We wanted to focus more on our everyday neighborhood guests rather than being a special occasion, expensive restaurant,” co-owner Shah Bahreyni told the Chronicle. “We have had numerous requests from our guests to make our restaurant more affordable, so they can visit us more often.”

Bahreni and business partner Sam Ramadan have owned Boca Steak for seven years. They also own two other restaurants, the Italian and pizza-theme Boca Pizzeria.
