Teens and High School: A Parent's Journey to Graduation #2

In the process of watching your teenager celebrate the end of the school year, pat yourself on the back! Have your own celebration.

As the end of the school year is quickly approaching, keep the positive energy pumping and the encouragement flowing. Encourage your teenager but even more-so, encourage yourself. That's right, pat yourself on the back.

You're coming across the finish line, too. If your teenager is planning to celebrate with an end of the year party, make sure you plan a little celebration for yourself. You deserve it; you've also put in a hard year.

How about an afternoon at the beach with grapes, cheese, and the wind blowing at your back. Maybe a manicure, a massage, or a long victory walk around the park. The important thing is that you take time to celebrate, celebrate, and celebrate.
