It's May, Not June; the School Year is NOT Over!

May is no time to slow down on test preparation and final projects. So, be your teen's Personal Cheering Squad.

At this stage in the school year, your teen is exhausted but what they probably do not realize is that you are, too. But don't let them know that you are exhausted. Your teen will say "It's over; there are only a couple more weeks to go, nothing I do will make a difference on my grade." You have to be firm and say "It's not over until it's over. There is ample time to improve your grade or royally mess up the grade you think you have."

Be your teen's cheering squad. Keep supporting and encouraging even when they want to give up. May is the month they need your encouragement BIG TIME.

Your teen knowing that someone else cares and believes is so important — even when they won't acknowledge it.

If you are one of the lucky parents who has a teen who is still running full blast through May on high octane energy, speeding to the finish-line, please share with others how that happens.
