“Lifestyle” video shoots (shot on location in a mostly uncontrolled environment, with the point to mix real people and products to achieve a unique but natural ambiance) is like a potluck dinner: when the right ingredients are added to the mix, the results are sure to please everyone who collaborates earnestly in the preparation.
At a recent Zan Media video shoot for the Marin Builders Association’s Home & Garden Expo, which will be held at the Civic Center on June 2-3, the stew was ripe with flavor.
Erma Murphy of Murphy Productions started the ball rolling by snagging the fantastic home of Catherine Munson, the doyenne of all things Eichler, (the progressive developer, Joseph Eichler built affordable, open concept homes in the mid 20th century) which delivered stunning but casual, indoor and outdoor looks.
She then upped the ante by enlisting Marin Builders Association President, Aimi Dutra, and her two, adorable young sons as top notch “talent.” (Yes, Hollywood will be calling.)
For her pièce de résistance she snagged some of the incredibly gifted Til Dawn, Youth in Arts vocal group, who will be singing at the event, to provide an impromptu musical rendition, which really spiced things up.
Steve Bajor, CEO of Pacific Expositions, and the Expo’s Liz Savage delivered products to feature and enjoy – a small sampling of what will be available at the Expo where over 150 vendors will be sharing the best in Marin design.
I hope you will enjoy this video and make plans to attend the event. It’s going to be feast for all the senses!
