Capital Access Group helps Robert Federighi Design Optimizes Operations with SBA 504 Loan to Purchase 21,000 Square Foot Warehouse & Showroom.

Founded in 1999 by Robert Federighi, Robert Federighi Design provides interior design, staging, and construction management services for high-end, residential homes. The company’s goal is to impart the very best of design concepts and service, with integrity in every aspect of its operation.

Mr. Federighi’s business was operating out of three separate warehouse spaces, which was affordable, but definitely not optimal for his thriving, fast-moving staging business. When the largest of the three warehouses was sold, Mr. Federighi recognized that his rent was about to increase.

Capital Access Group worked with Mr. Federighi and his lender, Bank of Marin, to secure a $1.5 million SBA 504 loan for the purchase of a 21,000 square foot warehouse. According to Mr. Federighi, the new facility will stabilize costs, create efficiencies, and optimize storage for furniture used for staging purposes.

“By owning the new building, we fixed our expenses, so we can continue growing while controlling our spending,” said Mr. Federighi. “The mortgage payment on the new building is less than we currently pay in rent!”

Mr. Federighi also plans to open a showroom to give his interior design department space to sell high quality furniture.

“Working with Capital Access was a smooth, easy process,” said Mr. Federighi. “I highly recommend them.”

Currently, the SBA 504 interest rate is 5.28%, fully amortized and fixed for 20 years. For more information, please visit www.capitalaccess.com.
