Bank of Marin Hires Pat McCarty as First Vice President

Bank of Marin Bancorp has announced the hiring of Pat McCarty as First Vice President, Special Assets Manager. McCarty joins Bank of Marin with more than 35 years of experience in financial services having served in various credit management, commercial lending and leadership roles. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Novato Business Banking Manager for Umpqua Bank in Novato. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Circle Bank also in Novato.

In this new role, McCarty will work primarily with Bank of Marin’s commercial loan relationships, providing extra attention and creative solutions for those customers who may have encountered financial challenges.

Colombo, President and Chief Executive Officer. “His strong business banking and relationship management experience complements our team and supports Bank of Marin’s focus on maintaining high credit quality standards.”

McCarty earned a B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and he has completed additional financial management courses at Northwestern University. He is also an instructor for the American Institute of Banking.

McCarty currently resides in Novato, CA.
