What's the Best Flower Shop in Town?

Mother's Day is creeping up on us. It's always the second Sunday in May — this year on the 13th.

Why do we mention it three weeks early? Because it's time to pick your favorite florist in Novato as part of our ongoing Readers' Choice surveys. Hint, hint.

Think about all the things that make a good florist: the quality of the goods, presentation, price and service. For many of us, location is important as well.

Contest voting (rules attached at right) comes in two forms: You can vote in the poll below, but the poll is not scientific and is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. Have fun by voting one time only in the poll, then show some love for your favorite spot by giving it a great review and a positive rating on its Patch Directory page. A place with five stars will get more points in our contest than one with three.

Why do the ratings matter more? The poll goes away after a few days, but the positive reviews and ratings stay forever with your favorite florist. Plus, the reviews and ratings count heavily in the contest judging, too.
