Novato Pharma Moving into Former Disney Digs

Fast-growing Raptor Pharmaceutical moving into Hamilton Landing parcel.

Raptor Pharmaceutical is moving its corporate headquarters to land formerly occupied by Walt Disney's  ImageMovers Digital animation studio, The North Bay Business Journal reports.

Raptor inked a seven-year lease on the new space and is expected to complete the move by the middle of next year according to the report.

The report cites the company's rapid growth - Raptor has in the last year nearly tripled its workforce from 18 to approximately 50 - as the main reason for the move.

The company has outgrown its current 20,000 square-foot office space at 9 Commercial Boulevard, where it's lease ran out in March according to the report.

The parcel formerly occupied by Disney at 7 Hamilton Landing features nearly 31,000 square feet of office space.

“We have been searching for new space since last October," Raptor Chief Financial Officer Georgia Erbez told the NBBJ.

"We have outgrown our existing space, and the capacity of our building.”
