“I am proud of our physicians, staff and patients for making NCH a top state and national hospital," said Chief Administrative Officer Brian Alexander in a prepared statement. "We owe much of our success to a loyal and supportive community and we take our mission seriously to provide them excellent care."

The 2013 Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ puts NCH in the top 10 percent of hospitals for a positive patient experience during their hospital stay.  Information provided by patients during their hospitalization drives this award, including communication with physicians and nurses, satisfaction with the hospital rooms, and if a patient would recommend the facility to family and friends.
