Line Out the Door for Taco Bell Giveway

Angel Pagan's stolen base during the Giants' World Series victory meant one free taco for anyone who wanted one.

The World Series parade isn't until Wednesday morning in San Francisco, but there was a parade of people heading into Taco Bell restaurants all over the country on Tuesday afternoon.

Taco Bell gave away a free taco to all customers who requested one during a four-hour span Tuesday because San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan stole a base during the World Series.

The “Steal A Base, Steal A Taco” promotion promised that everyone would be treated to a Doritos Loco Taco if any player stole a base in the World Series. Lines formed outside the restaurants as people grabbed the freebies between 2 and 6 p.m.
