Hilltop 1892 Voted Best Place for Sunday Brunch

is the best place to book a Mother's Day brunch, according to responses from readers in this week's Readers Choice contest.

Hilltop, a dining destination since the 1930s, edged out and in the contest based on poll responses and comments left on the Novato business listings for the restaurants.

Owned by Erick Hendricks, Hilltop underwent a in late 2009 and early 2010, kicking the doors open again in June 2010 and reestablishing itself as one of the city's classier dining establishments. Among the items on the brunch are Dungeness crab benedict, short rib hash, chicken chilaquiles plus specialty sandwishes and salads.

Patch's Readers Choice contest winners are determined by results of the weekly poll and reviews left on a business' Patch listing. Why do the ratings matter more when determining the winner? The poll goes away after a few days, but the positive reviews and ratings stay forever with your favorite restaurant and really help them out.

Hilltop 1892 will receive a Patch certificate of achievement in the coming weeks.
