Pam O’Connor, CEO of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, said the certification program was introduced in 2009 to recognize member websites that combine high standards for design, technology and customer service. Her group revisits the criteria each year to ensure the standards reflect current online trends.

The WQC is an optional program available only to firms affiliated with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, and it requires re-certification every two years.
