Flower Power Duo Moves into Ignacio Center
Natalie & Daria's Flowers and Gifts has moved from Pacheco Plaza into the Ignacio Center on Entrada Drive.
In southern Novato, the florist team of Natalie & Daria are well-known for their beautiful and creative arrangements. But customers who decide to drop by their shop, instead of placing a phone order, would find that they moved in February from their longtime home at Pacheco Plaza to a new shop around the block at Ignacio Center.
The sister/business partner duo says it was time for a change and that economics played a part. “You have to work smarter in this economy, said Natalie Foster. “We wanted to stay close to our customer base and we were blessed to find this location.”
Ignacio Center is a shopping mall that is poised for discovery. Business owners and managers at , and now Natalie & Daria’s Flowers & Gifts think more potential customers will be making that discovery when, and if, an moves in at the end of the street on Entrada Drive.

In the meantime, Natalie & Daria have found lots of plusses in the new location with plenty of parking and a back door for their delivery truck.
Roughly the same size as their previous location, they continue to have a small gift shop that is convenient for customers picking up flowers.

The sisters are on top of two trends in the florist industry. One is supporting local flower growers with a “field-to-vase” philosophy explained in a recent San Francisco Chronicle article. The other is offering customers a source of fresh everyday flowers that won’t break the bank.
Natalie & Daria’s are offering weekly bunch specials of seasonal flowers – 5 stems for $4.99 a bunch and 15 stems at $13.99. Daria Fesler pointed out that knowing the grower ensures the freshness of the flowers.
Natalie said through their bunch specials they hope customers will steer clear of supermarket flowers and rely on the florist for more than just special arrangements at the holidays.
“We could have a garage warehouse but this is so much a part of the business – contact with customer and everyday exchange,” said Natalie.
