Carl's Jr. Makes Way for Chick-fil-A

The Carl's Jr. that has sat empty by Moylan's Brewing has has been torn down and a Chick-fil-A will stand in its place.

The Carl's Jr. that closed and stood vacant across the parking lot from Moylan's Brewing Company has finally been knocked down.

A backhoe was breaking large pieces of the once fast food building into smaller chunks and putting them in a truck's open trailer.

In an attempt to find out when the new restaurant would be completed and open for business, a call was made to Chick-fil-A corporate headquarters in Atlanta.  Their message stated the office was closed "due to the inclement weather."

Sandy, the rabbit talk on the Cooper's Market story should've led to Jimmy Carter and the bunny incident.

Bubba, You say Patch is in it's last days, and we will all be gone forever, so let's end it with some form of style. Ok I agree so Bring Tina and her gang with you to the Hilltop tonight as they are the ones who are causing it to close up shop.

I Hate Chick-Fil-A, because they refuse to spell fillet correctly. Is that because they're not fillets, but a sort of particle board of chicken scraps stuck together with food glue? Oh, and I don't like it when restaurant chains, or celebrities, or football teams get political.

The name/logo is a creative take on "chicken fillet," with the "A" standing for top quality. Chick-fil-A was registered in 1963. - See more at: http://www.chacha.com/question/how-did-chick-fil-a-get-its-name#sthash.TCw2uKgS.dpuf
