Spring cleaning is happening at dogpark with help from some students from .
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 2, about a dozen students of San Marin will join with volunteers from the Friends Of Dogbone Meadow to clean the park. Armed with gloves, rakes, weed forks and other garden tools we plan on covering the park and removing pesky weeds and dried dog poop. Prune some lower tree branches and generally weed and make the park ready for the summer months ahead.
The students are participating in service to the community that teaches them the benefits of making the community a good place for all. In turn our great dog park gets its summer makeover. To make sure the students are well thanked the Friends of Dogbone Meadow are providing drinks, sandwiches, apples and cookies. A win win for both sides.
