Great Deed: She began a fundraising club called Children In Need that involves young musicians such as herself dedicated to raising money through holding small public and private concerts throughout the Bay Area.
This Sunday, Caitlin and friends will have a benefit concert with proceeds going to the children impacted by the devastating earthquake in Japan. It will be at San Domenico School, 1500 Butterfield Road, San Anselmo, from 7-9 p.m.
Key to Awesomeness: As she states on her website, Caitlin has “a passion for helping less fortunate children ... in other places around the world.” She is also an excellent student and a fine violinist, the concert mistress of the Virtuoso Program at San Domenico, and winner of the Bach competitions in Berkeley and Marin in the junior violin category.
Caitlin started a website and organized a benefit concert. Why not check them out and lend an ear or a hand (or both) to her efforts?
