The Novato Theater Company Guest Artist Series is happy to bring you a return engagement of the best of the Blues and Broadway by this Dynamic Duo.  Daniela Innocenti Beem was nominated as Best Actress in both of Novato Theater Company’s musicals last year, for "Guys and Dolls" and "The Pirates of Penzance," by the SF Critics Circle.  Now, she teams up with her best friend, Julie Ekoue-Totou (and co-star in "The Pirates of Penzance"), to bring down the house!

Don't miss out on seeing two of the Bay Area's premier talents as they grace the stage together, bringing you songs from such musicals as Jekyll & Hyde, Ragtime, Title Of Show, Wild Party and more.

Friday-Sunday:

It’s time for Summer Clearance Sale featuring used books and 50% off the already-low prices on nearly everything in the store, including audiobooks, DVDs, sheet music and other materials. More than 95 percent of materials are donated, not library discards. The store-wide sale includes books starting at only 25 cents. This is a great time to pick up some wonderful reads for the summer vacation season. Proceeds benefit the Marin County Library programs.

If you go: The sale kicks off Friday morning, and runs through the weekend. Sale hours are Friday, 10 am-7pm; Saturday, 10 am-4 pm, and Sunday, noon-4pm. Replenishment will continue throughout the sale, so return to find more deals. Cash and check only, please. The Book Place, operated by the Friends of Marin County Library is at 1608 Grant Ave. in Novato.

Saturday:

Start your engines and drive down to for the chance to get an inside look at the No. 9 Stanley Ford Fusion driven by race car driver Marcos Ambrose. The car will make a special appearance at the store, in conjunction with Ace’s “Racing for a Miracle” fundraising campaign that benefits the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Customers are invited to participate in the in-store fundraising activities as well as enter into the drawing for a chance to win a Richard Petty Driving Experience gift certificate.  No purchase necessary. “Racing for a Miracle” is a fundraising partnership between Ace Hardware, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Stanley Tools. The mission of this unique partnership is to drive awareness for saving and improving the lives of children.

Saturday:

and are teaming up with hopes of increasing blood supplies in the Bay Area. Come to Moylan's, give up a pint and get a free lunch courtesy of the brewpub. Blood Centers of the Pacific provides the critical link between blood donors who generously give the gift of life and the local patients who need this lifesaving gift.This is a most critical moment for blood suppliers and only the community can help.

If you go: Give up a pint between noon and 5 p.m. at Moylan’s Brewery & Restaurant, 15 Rowland Way in Novato.

Saturday:

Join Marin Summer Theater for a special one-night only performance by current and past company members to raise money for the Marin Summer Theater scholarship fund. All proceeds from ticket sales will be given as scholarships to deserving future company members. See some of your favorite 2009 and 2010 company members and get to know the 2011 company as they recreate memorable moments from years past and show you what they are doing now. In 2011 Marin Summer was able to offer 12 full scholarships because our audience was so generous at the 2010 Benefit. Please help us continue to make theater available for our deserving student actors, dancers, and singers.

Austin Texas native Danny Click brings a night of authentic Texas Roadhouse blues and Americana to the . A night of fun, music, guitars, dancing, special guests and more! The band features Don Bassey on bass, Billy Johnson on drums, Tracy Blackman singing, and very special guest Bonnie Hayes.  It should be a great night!
