Woofstock 2011

The Bay Area’s grooviest dog-friendly benefit concert is back in town!  Woofstock 2011 will feature music by award-winning Marin band Petty Theft and popular local artist Jerry Hannan along with a special guest appearance by Mike Nicco of ABC7 News. The Marin Humane Society hopes that Woofstock 2011 will raise more than $30,000 for the shelter animals.

Highlights include fabulous raffle prizes, including an autographed photo of Carlos Santana and guitar signed by Sir Paul McCartney. For the kids there's face painting and other fun activities in the Kid Zone. Need to talk? Ask the Behaviorist with Trish King, MHS Director of Behavior & Training· 

Local animal rescue organizations include Marin Friends of Ferals and SaveABunny. Additionally, there's more than two dozen local vendors, including the Marin Independent Journal, with fun products and services for people and pets.

There will also be food and drink for sale by Maya Palenque, Moylan’s Brewery, Barbed Oak Vineyard, Broadbent Selections and Paradise View Wines.

Tickets are $25 per person online ($30 at the event), $10($15 at the event) for children 12 and under, and FREE for children 5 and under. Free entry for dogs – and free parking!All proceeds benefit the Marin Humane Society.
