The Altered Book Show Closing Reception and Live Auction Party
The Altered Book Show at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art will end on Saturday, May 26 with a Live Auction Closing Party from 5 to 7 pm. Bidding on the 150 “book art objects” on display will begin at 6 pm. The works include collage, mixed media, book sculptures, jewelry, mobiles, origami, book boxes and handmade artist books. Novato artist Bonnie Kuhr’s Floating Dragon, made entirely from a book by that name, welcomes visitors to the show.
