San Marin High Hosts Free Vocal Jazz Festival Today

San Marin Music To Host Vocal Jazz Festival

On Feb. 5, 10 vocal jazz groups from Bay Area schools will come to San Marin High for a California Music Educators’ Association adjudicated festival. Jazz students from San Jose, San Francisco and the Central Valley city of Ripon will be represented. The only Marin County schools participating are San Rafael and San Marin.

The performances begin at 10 a.m. with the last group performing at 3:45 p.m. Each group will be given an onstage clinic following the performance.  The festival is free and open to the public. San Marin Music Boosters will operate a snack bar.

Tickets for this event go on sale Feb. 7.  Check Novato Patch that week for more information about this fun evening!
