San Marin High School Presents 'OKLAHOMA!'

OKLAHOMA! COMING TO SAN MARIN

The musical "Oklahoma!" is coming to San Marin High School.  Sixty-six San Marin students plus six younger community members make up the cast, tech crew and orchestra that will be launching the production on March 25.

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s timeless music is perfectly paired with the story based on Lynn Riggs play “Green Grow the Lilacs." Some of the original Agnes de Mille dances have been recreated and adapted by student choreographers.  The production is directed by Pat Nims, with musical direction by Emily Gates, and the orchestra led by Samantha Maaslehbrown.

The roles of Laurey, Will, Ado Annie, Aunt Eller, Jud and Gertie have all been double cast.

Marina Nims and a crew of students and parents have been working on authentically accurate costumes while other students and parents have developed some stunning views of the wide-open spaces.

Tickets for "Oklahoma!" may be purchased in advance for $8 in the San Marin High School office or BrownPaperTickets.com.  Purchase tickets early – this is a fun show for the whole family and sure to be a sell-out.  If tickets are still available at the door, the price will be $10.
