June Haugen and Elayne Miller are volunteers on the downtown Novato Theater project committee.
June has been working with Bernice Baeza since January of 2011, when she began helping Bernice assemble a committee of Novato community members committed to getting the downtown Novato Theater rebuilt and reopened.
Since that time, a successful fundraising and public awareness campaign resulted in the City selling the theater building to the Novato Theater nonprofit.

Now begins Phase II our "bringing the dream to life"; raising the additional $2.25 million to rebuild and reopen the theater and get it operational as a community multi-use performing arts, film, and live music venue open 365 days a year
