MST presents 'The Importance of Being Earnest'

Marin Summer Theater is presenting The Importance of Being Earnest on July 12, 13, 14 and 15 at in Novato.

Written in 1895 by Oscar Wilde and directed by Broadway actor and Novato native Jim Poulos, Earnest promises to be delightful, romantic and fun. The Importance of Being Earnest is considered by many to be the funniest play ever written in the English language.

In a stylish send-up of Victorian courtship and manners, charming bachelors Jack and Algernon lead double lives to woo the two young ladies who have won their hearts. When they are caught in their lies, the stage is set for clever manipulations and hilarious confusion.
