On Feb. 22, an update of the theater project was presented to the Novato City Council stating that a steering committee and volunteer committee have been formed and are meeting regularly. Professional contractors have volunteered some services for the renovation, and business leaders have publicly talked about how much a renovated theater would mean to Old Town entertainment options and nightlife.
