Downtown Days on the Green Features Revolver Today

You lucked out again. The weather is perfect for the final free concert of the Downtown Days on the Green season starts at 3:30 p.m. today — Sept. 10 — at the Novato City Green, the grassy area right next to Novato City Hall.

This one features Revolver, which plays hits from the 1960s. Here's a bio from the band's website:

Inspired by the songwriting and melodic hooks of groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beau Brummels, Hollies, Kinks, Animals, Lovin' Spoonful and Buffalo Springfield, the members of Revolver took up instruments and formed groups to experience the energy and sensations of playing in a fired-up band. Some of the first tunes they learned were some of these well-crafted gems from artists of the '60s. Their love and appreciation for that genre of music is why they decided to form the group Revolver in the first place.
