Annual Picnic - Novato Historical Guild

The Novato Historical Guild hosts its Annual Picnic at Hamilton Field History Museum on Saturday, September 10.  For a $5 donation, visitors will enjoy a barbecue lunch beginning at 12 noon.  At 1:30 pm, Preston Cook will present an entertaining and fascinating lecture about his American Bald Eagle collection, which consists of approximately 20,000 items in 65 categories (from maps to military ephemera to sculptures and beyond).  Preston has published several articles on this topic and is working on a book.

If you choose not to come by for lunch, attending the lecture (and visiting the museum) is FREE.  Also, anyone intersted in joining the Novato Historical Guild and/or becoming a volunteer at either the Hamilton Field History Museum or the Novato History Museum is extended a warm welcome:  please come join us!
