Don't Forget to Submit Your Nominations for Whiz Kids
In a new weekly feature, we'll highlight the accomplishments of local youths, and we're on the hunt for nominees. Let us know in the comments section below or via e-mail.
Do you know a great kid who led a community service effort, earned a significant award or led a team to the championship? He or she might be our next Novato Patch Whiz Kid honoree(s).
Each week, Novato Patch seeks suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. We want to hear about these amazing children and teens and select one or a group each week as the Patch Whiz Kid.
Submit your nomination in our comment box below or e-mail the information to Brent Ainsworth at brent.ainsworth@patch.com. Be sure to include all of the following information:
● Nominator's Name
● Nominator's E-Mail
● Whiz Kid's Name
● Whiz Kid's Age
● Whiz Kid's School
● Whiz Kid's Accomplishment
● Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness (what made him/her successful?)
If your nominee is selected, we'll contact you and ask if you can provide a digital photo of the Whiz Kid via e-mail. In fact, it's helpful to just attach shots when you send in your nominiation. For questions, e-mail brent.ainsworth@patch.com.
