Beer Festival on Tap in Novato
The California Beer Festival will be held at Stafford Lake Park on Saturday.
Good news for those of you who caught the festival bug earlier this month: More beer, eats and music are on the way.
The California Beer Festival will be held in Novato later this month.
The event comes three weeks after the Novato Festival of Art, Wine and Music drew tens of thousands of visitors to the North Bay city for a sun-drenched weekend of food, drinks and entertainment.

The festival will feature more than 70 craft brews, live entertainment and a barbecue cook-off.
Tom Petty tribute band Petty Theft will be among three bands performing. Metal Shop, a hard rock band, and the psychedelic-soul Monophonics are the others.

The festival will be held at Stafford Lake Park on Saturday from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Admission to the event is $40.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Gen Giammanco Foundation, a non-profit group providing financial assistance to Marin County student athletes.
