Bands Plan to Rock for Japan at Sunday Fundraiser in Novato

Rock along with two dynamite tribute bands, a surf band, support the tsunami victims of Japan — and still get home on time on a school night.

Who says Novato doesn’t rock?

This Sunday, the nonprofit Rock for Good is going global right here in Novato by raising money for the tsunami victims of Japan with a three-band concert called Rock for Japan. It’s happening at in Hamilton starting at 4:30 p.m.

The concert includes Zoo Station, a U2 tribute band with more than 150 songs in its reportoire; the Sun Kings, a Beatles tribute band; and the pop surf band Drifting Sand. (You've heard of "air guitar" ...  Well, how about riding an "air board"?)
