The Blue Man Group is among those named in a $40,000 lawsuit filed by a Marin County attorney on behalf of Stan Michelman, a Novato man who claims he was injured at a 2011 show in San Francisco by a stray blue ball that soared into the audience.

 

Thursday, Sept. 5  

Two East Bay burglary suspects who escaped from police detention were eventually arrested on Thursday amid frantic circumstances after a Novato police officer was assaulted, authorities said.

 

Friday, Sept. 6

Novato Mayor Pro Tem Eric Lucan has endorsed incumbent Denise Athas in this year's city council race.

Athas is among four candidates running for two open city council seats. The others are Mayor Pat EklundEleanor Sluis and Steve Jordan.
