About 300 Novato households lost power Monday morning after a car hit a utility pole on Vineyard Road and Sutro Avenue.
The incident occurred at 8:30am. No injuries to the driver were reported and service for most customers was restored by noon.
Vineyard Road between Sutro and Angelica Court was closed Monday as crews worked to replace the damaged pole.
