San Marin Classic Cars Polished to Perfection

Saturday show brought out a lot full of beauties at All Saints Lutheran Church.

A small but fun gathering of classic car enthusiasts had a great time Saturday at the annual San Marin Improvement Association's Classic Car Expo at .

"The weather Saturday was great, so we had a fun show," reported organizer Andrew Sinclair, who said about $400 was raised for future SMIA events. "We had 20 cars and enough spectators wandered through to keep everyone happy."

  • Best of Show: Rob Hills, 1930 Model A pickup
  • People's Choice Winner: Gus Stremme, 1957 Ford Thunderbird
  • People's Choice Second Place: Dale Miller, 2011 Tesla Roadster (all electric)

Sinclair thanked Ron Coury, director of E-Commerce at North Bay Nissan, for sponsoring the prizes, Great Donuts for providing treats, Apex Motorwerks Mercedes-Benz Service for donating a raffle prize, and All Saints Lutheran Church for making its property available.

"Special thanks to Scott, who maintains the property and made it look so good for the show!" Sinclair said. "Also thanks to the church volunteers who sold hot dogs and sausages as a fundraiser for the church. We hope to see all of our old friends and hopefully some new ones next year."
