Rickey's Has a Delicious Way to Help End Hunger with Dine Out Benefit

Here's what's happening Thursday, Nov. 18.

— Dine out tonight, in honor of the 6th Annual Dine Out to End Hunger. will donate 20 percent of your dinner bill to Homeward Bound of Marin.

— Learn the art of flower pressing at the Novato Library from 7-8 p.m. Chicha Lynch will create bookmarks and decorations with adults and children age 8 and up.

— View 3-D slides of cities near and far by John Kaufman, holographer and stereo photographer, at the South Novato Library from 6:30-7:00 p.m.  Twenty-five pairs of 3-D glasses are available for program use.

— Discover the secrets of frogs and newts as Marin County Open Space District naturalist David Herlocker discusses the life of an amphibian in Marin, in the Marin Humane Society Auditorium from 7:30-9 p.m.

— Register online for the 10th Annual Marin County Trot at the Indian Valley campus of College of Marin in Ignacio. This family event on Thanksgiving Day includes 1 mile, 3K, 5K and 10 K races. School Fuel, a nonprofit that supports public schools in Novato, is a beneficiary of this event.
