Roughly 3,900 PG&E customers in the areas of Novato and south Petaluma briefly lost power this morning, a utility spokeswoman said.
The outage was reported around 9:50 a.m., PG&E spokeswoman Brittany McKannay said.
The cause of the outage is under investigation but it appears to have originated near South Novato and Midway boulevards in Novato.
Service was restored to all customers by 10:40 a.m., McKannay said.
Customers were affected throughout Novato and in the southern part of Petaluma along Lakeville Highway, she said.Copyright © 2013 by Bay City News, Inc. -- Republication, Rebroadcast or any other Reuse without the express written consent of Bay City News, Inc. is prohibited.
