Waiting is the Hardest Part

Anticipating how the softball will float over the plate is the hardest part of the slow pitch softball game.

It doesn't matter if you have played for years or are just beginning, these everyday competitors are ready to play ball.

The stands are not full of cheering crowds. Some teams have uniforms, some do not. It's all about a relaxed, night out with male friends or co-workers,

The game is fun to watch, as the batter step up to the plate, with words of encouragement from friends, ready to try and gauge the softball floating in a high lob, ever so slowly until it passes over home plate.  Will the batter be able to wait...wait...and be caught off guard or power hit it out to the field?
