PG&E Installing New Power Lines Along Highway 101 in Novato
Lane closures in both directions Sunday 2am to 9am as crews conduct the work
Highway 101 between Ignacio Boulevard and Rowland Boulevard will be partially closed Sunday as PG&E crews work to install new power lines.
The closure will be in place from approximately 2am to 9am and impact both directions. Drivers needing to get on the freeway will still be able to as individual lanes will be closed for 15 minutes at a time to allow crews to perform work.
After that, traffic will be allowed to flow for 15 minutes until the next closure.

PG&E determined that doing a full closure would push drivers onto Novato's streets, impacting congestion.
