Help Your Baby Express Feelings with Sign Language

Here are your top choices for Thursday, Dec. 16

Baby Sign Language is based on the American Sign Language and helps babies communicate nonverbally to their parents. This 10:30 a.m. class is free but a donation of $1 is requested to cover the cost of the venue, Lanham Village Community Center, 4 Martin Drive in Hamilton.  —Four conservation groups will co-host a community forum on the Marin Energy Authority from 7-9 p.m. at the office. The forum will have a panel of experts discussing the joint powers authority that offers electric power from sustainable sources and is an alternative to PG&E. The Marin Conservation League, Sierra Club Marin Group, Sustainable Marin and Sustainable Novato are co-hosting the forum intended to encourage the Novato City Council to reconsider joining the MEA following a decision earlier this year to not give Novato residents the option. Novato Public Access Television is to  provide a live broadcast of this meeting if you are interested but can't make it.

— Register today for one of scheduled for Dec. 20-23 and Dec. 27-30. The cost is $55 daily or $180 for all four days. Children ages 4-14 are instructed according to age group and ability and are exposed to many different art mediums.
