Exploring Career Options at Age 2

What did you aspire to be when you grew up?

As I drive through Novato I am always looking for photo opportunities. This week while driving down the street, I stopped to see 2 1/2-year-old Aiden Wehr admiring a fire truck with his grandmother at Station 63 on San Ramon Way. He was wearing a firefighter shirt and was happy to explain to me what all of the equipment was on the fire truck.

I am not a detective, but I could tell he had been here before. Why was he so familiar with the trucks? Why, his father, Don Wehr, is a firefighter/engineer. His dad has obviously shared his passion and has had quite an influence on him.

It made me wonder: Have any of you followed in your parents' footsteps and chosen a career similar to theirs, or did you decide at an early age what your career path would be?
