Nature for Kids: Mount Burdell

As
autumn begins we will pay special attention to the ways that the plants and
animals around us survive during the hot dry months, and how they get ready for
the cold wet season ahead. We’ll talk about the importance of tasty things like
berries and acorns, and learn why the animals don’t eat them until fall and
winter. This walk is free of charge, no registration is necessary. We request
that no animals (except service animals) attend. David Herlocker will lead.
Questions: Contact David at (415) 893-9508 or DHerlocker@marincounty.org. Meet at the San Andreas Trailhead. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the
Atherton Ave/San Marin Dr exit west on San Marin Dr for 2.3 miles. Turn right
at San Andreas Dr. Gate is near the end on the right.
