Sunday, the Interact Club at Novato High School will be having a Car Wash at Marin Coffee Roasters from 9:00am-2:30pm. They would like to donate half of their profits to the Ratliff family. If you are interested in supporting this community event, please come by - they'd love your help and support!
NHS students are also in the process of organizing several remembrances for the Ratliff family. One class made a black and gold blanket and is also organizing a bouquet of flowers, where each person brings in a flower from their own garden, symbolizing the individuals in the community coming together. Another class would like to host a day in memory of Hailey (next Thursday), by wearing her favorite color. The picture below is of a poster that a few classes made together, so that NHS students and staff could express their condolences to Hailey's family.
This are just a few examples of students trying to come together in positive ways to cope with such a tragedy that has impacted the entire Novato community.
